Admired for its simplicity, the original Frette has sat within Cole & Son's archive for over a century. Its intertwined trellis sits in contrast to the printed ground, adding an elegant depth to an otherwise minimal design. Preserving an analogue print method, Fretwork retains a natural texture, with ink layered upon ink creating a tactile imprint upon each length.
Reworked with an expanded palette and greater tonal variation, Fretwork reveals new depth within the enduring design. The flow of its repeating geometry creates a subtle honeycomb effect across the wall, encouraging the eye to wander across the pattern. Faithful to its archival origins yet refreshed for contemporary interiors, Fretwork demonstrates the lasting appeal of a beautifully balanced trellis.

Cole & Son’s non-woven wallpapers are sponge wipeable with a soft damp cloth and no agent or detergent. We do not recommend attempting to wipe our silk, grasscloth or flock wallpapers.

There are three delivery options to choose from at the checkout:
1. Express Delivery – Your order will be delivered the next working day if placed before 2pm Monday-Thursday
2. Standard Delivery – Your order will be delivered in 2-3 working days via one of our courier partners

International Shipping:
Express Delivery – Your order will be delivered with all duties and taxes paid within 1-3 working days, depending where you are in the world.
Samples:
Wallpaper & fabric samples can be purchased nationwide as well as internationally.
Returns:
Goods can only be accepted for return by prior agreement with Cole & Son and must be returned within 14 days of order date. All rolls must be returned in a saleable condition, without damage. We cannot accept returns of cut fabrics or samples.
