Fornasetti a utilisé des coquillages pour recouvrir les murs de la salle à manger de sa villa au bord du lac de Côme, dans une interprétation mid-century d’une grotte du XVIᵉ siècle. La pièce comportait également un délicat plafonnier en coquillages réalisé par Giulia, l’épouse de Piero.
Ce motif se retrouve sur de nombreuses pièces de l’atelier : foulards, vases, plateaux, miroirs et tables ; l’inspiration de Fornasetti ne connaît aucune limite créative.
Formant une répétition géométrique de boîtes et de losanges ornés de coquillages, Conchiglie regorge de détails exquis, offrant une nouvelle inspiration à chaque regard.

International Shipping:
Express Delivery – Your order will be delivered with all duties and taxes paid within 1-3 working days, depending where you are in the world.
Samples:
Wallpaper & fabric samples can be purchased nationwide as well as internationally.
Returns:
Goods can only be accepted for return by prior agreement with Cole & Son and must be returned within 14 days of order date. All rolls must be returned in a saleable condition, without damage. We cannot accept returns of cut fabrics or samples.
