Thick reticulations of colour form crescented stripes whose gentle rhythm recalls the artistry of Bargello embroidery, a historic needlework technique characterised by its flowing, flame-like geometric patterns.
Slightly offset in their application, each layer carries subtle variations that signal the hand of the maker, whilst lending movement and depth to the pattern. Echoes of Florentine marbled paper emerge through the flowing forms, where colour appears to drift and settle with an effortless fluidity.
Familiar yet refined, Wavelet balances formal repetition with a softness that feels both decorative and timeless. The interplay of structure and movement creates a design that is at once graphic and tactile, bringing warmth, texture, and quiet rhythm to the wall.
