Die Inspiration für diesen Druck ist „Sole di Capri“, ein Design, das Piero Fornasetti in den 50er Jahren geschaffen hat. Piero Fornasetti hatte schon lange eine Leidenschaft für Capri und entwarf dieses ikonische Design aus seiner Vorstellung heraus, bevor er die legendäre Insel jemals besucht hatte. Schließlich nahm Piero die Familie dort im Urlaub mit und eröffnete in den 1960er Jahren auch eine temporäre Fornasetti-Boutique auf der Insel. Der ursprüngliche Druck ist eine Kombination aus personifizierten Sonnen und stilisierter Architektur, beides typisch für Fornasetti. Die Idee, personifizierte Sonnen und Wolken zu kombinieren, erscheint erstmals in einer Skizze für ein Kopftuch, das Piero 1950 zeichnete. Heute ist es ein verspieltes Allover-Muster, das einem Interieur eine einzigartige Eigenart verleiht.

Cole & Son’s non-woven wallpapers are sponge wipeable with a soft damp cloth and no agent or detergent. We do not recommend attempting to wipe our silk, grasscloth or flock wallpapers.

International Shipping:
Express Delivery – Your order will be delivered with all duties and taxes paid within 1-3 working days, depending where you are in the world.
Samples:
Wallpaper & fabric samples can be purchased nationwide as well as internationally.
Returns:
Goods can only be accepted for return by prior agreement with Cole & Son and must be returned within 14 days of order date. All rolls must be returned in a saleable condition, without damage. We cannot accept returns of cut fabrics or samples.
