Absence of Roses Moire
Absence of Roses ist ein Druck, der mit dem Haus Vivienne Westwood synonym ist und erstmals als illustratives Rosenmotiv in der Frühling-Sommer 1994 Gold Label Café Society Kollektion zu sehen war. Der Roses Druck wurde ursprünglich von dem Maler und Botaniker von Marie Antoinette, Pierre-Joseph Redouté, inspiriert und später als Silhouetten-Druck in der Absence of Roses Variante gesehen.
Für die Cole & Son x Vivienne Westwood Kollektion zeigt der Absence of Roses Druck das klassische Cole & Son Moiré als Grund, was der Tapete Tiefe, Bewegung und ein reiches Erbe verleiht, das mit dem einer Westwood-Garderobe assoziiert wird. Moiré, ein Design, das heute noch im Portfolio von Cole & Son zu finden ist, wurde von dem Gründer des Designhauses geschaffen, um die Notwendigkeit für Tapeten zu erfüllen, die das Aussehen von Seidenwandverkleidungen nachahmen. Damit war er an der Spitze der Innovation und entwickelte das Design mit zerstoßenen Perlpigmenten, bekannt als Glimmer, um den Glanz von Seide zu simulieren. Die resultierende Kombination der beiden Drucke ist eine romantische Tapete, die jeden Raum, den sie schmückt, in einen seidenartigen Jacquard-Effekt hüllt.
Farbtöne von Zinn und Messing beziehen sich auf die düstereren Empfindungen des Hauses Vivienne Westwood sowie auf das reine Seidenweiß der Braut-Couture, mit der sie synonym geworden sind.

Wallpaper & fabric samples can be purchased nationwide as well as internationally.
Returns:
Goods can only be accepted for return by prior agreement with Cole & Son and must be returned within 14 days of order date. All rolls must be returned in a saleable condition, without damage. We cannot accept returns of cut fabrics or samples.
